Research key performance index for construction contracts

Abstract

The construction contract is a common and complex type of civil contract. Especially for large construction projects. Construction contracts can be signed by many parties: there may be many investors working together, there may be many participating contractors or third parties. They perform different services for the construction process
Each type of contract has its own characteristics, so the operation will also be different. Choosing which type of contract is suitable for management form, payment method, and time is always a big problem when investors, project managers or contractors when choosing a form of contract. 
This thesis considers the contract's price form in order to research to have an overview of the contract evaluation factors based on the scale, thereby giving the performance evaluation index of the contract. By looking at previous studies and surveying opinions from experts, the research has identified the 5 most common types of contracts being used and will be the research factors in this thesis.
