An application of weap model in forecasting the flow process for some large reservoirs of Dak Lak province in climate change condition

Abstract

Currently, there are many hydrological models such as Mike Nam, Mike Basin, ... which are applied to calculate and evaluate surface water resources. Each model has its advantages, disadvantages, and different application ranges. Based on the specific conditions of the Sere Pok River basin, the WEAP model (Water Resource Planning and Assessment System) has been applied to simulate the flow process in the river basin with climate change conditions (BDKH). The results of calculation and forecasting flow process of 23 large reservoir sub-basins of the Dak Lak province, which is the basis of calculating the water balance for production in Dak Lak province.
