A study on behaviour of OUTRIGGER system on high rise reinforced concrete building

Abstract

The outrigger system is one of the most efficient system used for tall building to resist lateral forces. Studying the high rise building with Outriggers resistance to lateral loadings has been done by some authors before. In this article, the authors analyzed the influence of the Outriggers structural solutions on lateral displacements and storey drift in high rise reinforced concrete building affected by the wind and earthquake forces.
