Identifying factors affecting digital transformation of small and medium-sized construction enterprises in HCM city and proposing the Appsheet application to manage contract information

Abstract

The process of implementing Digital Transformation work of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) has many influencing factors, we always expect that the implementation of argument transformation will meet the expectations of enterprise and the general trends of the socioeconomic. Therefore, the aim of this study is to identify and measure the factors affecting the digital transformation of small and medium enterprises in the construction sector in Ho Chi Minh City.
The mean analysis results ranked the top 5 factors on the basis of 153 valid surveys obtained from people who have a lot of experience and knowledge in the digital transformation of small and medium construction enterprises.
On the result of identified research factors, the SMEs and governments have more databases to refer or find out the specific causes of each enterprise and the most suitable digital transformation model for the target, business development and direction. In addition, optimizing management processes and streamlining the organization chart, thereby proposing digital transformation or partial digitization for the fields of construction businesses are implementing. Specifically, the author proposes to add a contract information management tool using the Appsheet application on smarTPhones to quickly consider information and access it anytime.
