Abstract

On September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, opening an era of independence and freedom for the nation. This historical document crystallized the aspiration to liberate nearly a century of slavery, the result of the August Revolution in 1945. With tight arguments and eloquent language, the Declaration affirmed the right to independence, freedom, and the determination to protect the independence of the Vietnamese people. In the process of innovation and integration, the value of the Declaration of Independence continues to guide the way, fostering aspirations for development and contributing to raising Vietnam's stature in the new era.
