This study analyzes the influence of technological parameters on tool wear during the machining of A2024 aluminum alloy on an X.mill M640 milling machine. The experiments were conducted using a high-speed steel end mill, focusing on two main parameters: cutting speed V and feed rate s. Experimental data were used to develop a mathematical model describing the relationship between tool wear and cutting parameters. The results show that both V and s significantly affect tool wear; in particular, an increase in feed rate leads to a rapid rise in wear, while the effect of cutting speed depends on the cutting conditions and the dominant wear mechanisms.
