This paper presents a study on the design of a roll-forming process for producing V3600 profiles from thin steel sheets with a thickness of 0.3 mm. Based on an analysis of the product geometry, the number of forming passes is determined and a sequential roll-forming process is established. Rolling stress and total resisting force acting on the roll shafts are calculated using an analytical slab-based model. Finite element simulations are performed in ABAQUS to evaluate stress distribution and to validate the analytical results. The comparison confirms the feasibility of the proposed roll-forming process for thin sheet steel.
