ICG predicted 2014: Turnover of China's rice imports down 17%

Abstract

According to the latest report of International Grain Council (ICG), imports of rice in the world in 2013 could reach 36.7 million tonnes, down 5% SSO with the same period last year. The main cause of this is held in place, namely: rice import needs of the African market and Asia (including China) dropped sharply this year.
