Abstract
The Ede longhouse in Dak Lak province is a type of architecture that has existed for a long time and possesses many unique values. Since the 1980s, this architectural style has gradually disintegrated into smaller stilt houses. However, in recent years, restoring traditional longhouses for tourism has become popular in many villages in Dak Lak province, including those of the Ede people. This is a necessary task, but preserving the heritage values of the Ede traditional longhouse while effectively integrating them into tourism development is a complex and challenging issue. This study focuses on the fundamental values of the architectural heritage of the Ede longhouse in Dak Lak province and explores how these values can be applied to tourism development.
