CHANGES OF CAODAISM IN SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT IN VIETNAM TODAY

Abstract

Social changes and innovation occurring in any country or territory will lead to the transformation of social phenomena and entities, including Caodaism in Vietnam. These changes are the adaptation and flexible behavior of social phenomena in the context of social changes and development toward a better future. Since the appearance of Caodaism in the South to the present day, through many different historical periods, there have been many changes within Caodaism to adapt to society. Aiming at the spread of its doctrine over the country and abroad, Caodaism has been flexible and innovative in its religious activities as well as social activities, to contribute to the development of society in Vietnam.
