Abstract
As a regional tourism development center in the process of regional integration, Can Tho City plays a crucial role and must prioritize the development of various factors such as efficient linkages, policies, geographic allocation, market, infrastructure, human resources, and cooperation. In order to fully utilize its potential, Can Tho City should focus on developing a diverse range of tourism products, including eco-tourism, cultural and historical tourism, sea and island tourism, MICE tourism, and urban agricultural tourism. Each province within the region also has its own unique advantages that can contribute to the overall tourism industry, such as An Giang's spiritual tourism, Kien Giang's sea and island tourism, Dong Thap’s agriculture and traditional craft villages, Hau Giang's vast eco-tourism gardens, Soc Trang's architectural works and pagodas, Bac Lieu's amateur music scene, Ca Mau's mangrove forests, Long An's historical revolutionary relics, Ben Tre's ecological and historical tourism, Tien Giang's eco-tourism, Tra Vinh's eco tourism, and Vinh Long's eco-tourism. By leveraging these strengths and promoting cooperation among provinces, Can Tho City can further enhance its position as a leading regional tourism destination.
