Labor and employment in the informal economic sector and practical and legal issues for Vietnam

Abstract

In Vietnam, under the pressure of global integration driven by Industry 4.0, labor and employment issues pose a significant challenge to the stability and development of the economy. The informal economic sector faces substantial limitations and difficulties in keeping pace with the industrial economic sector, which enjoys more advantages and has a long-established development. This article explores additional theoretical and legal aspects, including: An overview of the informal economic sector;  The role of international organizations in labor and employment issues within the informal economic sector;  Some practical and legal issues concerning labor and employment in Vietnam’s informal economic sector today.
