Analyzing the impact of technology application investment on the operational efficiency of processing and manufacturing enterprises in Vinh Long province

Abstract

This study analyzed the impact of technology investment on the operational efficiency of processing and manufacturing enterprises in Vinh Long province using both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The theoretical model was tested using linear regression analysis to determine the level of impact of technology investment on operational efficiency. The research results showed that labor productivity in these businesses was still low and the utilization of machinery and equipment was only average. The study also indicated that investment in equipment, machinery, technology, and information technology had an impact on labor productivity. Additionally, allocating resources to research and development activities and management experience also enhanced operational efficiency. However, the level of investment in training and information technology of enterprises was not high, leading to inefficiency as expected.
