Abstract
The objective of the study was to find out and propose solutions to optimize the application of e-commerce in the tourism industry of Can Tho City in the context of Industry 4.0. Leveraging digital technology, developing diversified products and services, enhancing customer experience and building customer trust will help enhance the competitiveness of Can Tho tourism in domestic and international markets. To optimize e-commerce in tourism development in Can Tho City, it is necessary to implement solutions such as building infrastructure; techniques for tourism development and solutions to build sustainable smart tourism; sustainable, combining traditional and e-commerce; building a professional website; supporting skills and training tourism human resources; strengthening information security and data security; and creating promotions and incentives.
