Situation development of night tourism in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province

Abstract

In recent years, night tourism has gained attention in Vietnam as a popular tourist destination. This study aims to analyze the current state of nighttime attractions development in Phu Quoc City, located in Kien Giang Province. Data was collected from 168 domestic tourists who visited night tourist attractions in Phu Quoc. Descriptive statistics methods and Pearson’s correlation analysis were used to analyze the data. The research results showed that tourists rated 5 out of 7 factors as good, including facilities and products, human resources, entertainment and dining activities, safety, and infrastructure. However, hygiene and price were rated as average by tourists. Additionally, the attractiveness of night tourism in Phu Quoc had a significant impact on tourist satisfaction, revisit intention, and word of mouth. The research proposed some recommendations for the development of night tourism in Phu Quoc in the near future.
