STUDENTS' VIEWS ON INTEGRATING TRADITIONAL CRAFTS INTO FASHION ACCESSORIES DESIGN

Abstract

Cultural
and
creative
industries
have
received
great
attention
globally
in
recent
years,
and
the
close
relationship

between
design
and
these
industries
has
been
confirmed.
Since
the
application
of
traditional
craft
techniques
to

design
is
a
prominent
contemporary
trend,
this
study
selected
the
exhibition
“Young
Creativity
on
Phu
Xuyen

Craft
Village
Materials”
held
at
the
Hanoi
Museum
to
conduct
evaluation,
survey,
and
data
analysis
on
the

integration
of
traditional
craft
elements
in
fashion
accessory
design.
The
study
then
identified
and
analyzed
the

views
of
students
studying
different
design
majors
on
a
number
of
selected
exhibited
products.
