SOME CHARACTERISTICS OF SAC XUAN'S WORD OF MUSIC DO HONG QUAN

Abstract

Comporser Do Hong Quan is one of the mature Comporser s after 1975, he works in many fields (Comporser s, conductors, pedagogues) and especially in the field of musical composition. In 2007, at the request of the Asian Orchestra, the Comporser composed a piece called Sac Xuan. The author has exploited the complex features of the dan bau and other musical instruments with similar timbres to those of the Vietnamese nation, to express traditional musical materials such as Cheo, Nha Nhac, Quan Ho Bac. Ninh, Xoan singing… When listening to Sac Xuan, people feel lost in the joyful and excited atmosphere of the Spring Festival. The piece was performed for the first time by dan bau artist Hoang Anh Tu with Singapore's national orchestra.
