Identifying and combating distorted information in the process of streamlining the political system of Vietnam today

Abstract

The process of streamlining the political system, which has received widespread
support from the people, is an important political determination of the Party and the
State. However, this process also faces many challenges, particularly the dissemination
of distorted information, which creates public bewilderment and affects societal trust.
Misleading arguments not only distort the true nature of policies but also undermine
consensus in the society. In the light of this situation, the article analyzes the forms of
distorted information, their negative impacts, and proposes solutions to protecting correct
policies, refuting erroneous viewpoints, and strengthening public trust. Raising public
awareness, providing timely official information, and enhancing the fight against false
information and fake news will contribute to maintaining transparency and effectiveness
in the reform of the political system.
