Developing human resources with proficiency in foreign languages for Ho Chi Minh City in the new era

Abstract

In the era of integration and national development, human resources with good
command of foreign languages has become a decisive factor in enhancing the
competitiveness of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) in the international arena. The article
analyzes the importance of developing human resources with proficiency in foreign
languages, especially in English, for HCMC in the new context. At the same time, the
article proposes solutions to developing the human resources with proficiency in foreign
languages in order to create a workforce that meets the increasing market demand for
foreign language skills.
