Promoting the identity of Vietnam’s “Bamboo diplomacy” in order to contribute to the cause of building and protecting the country today

Abstract

Vietnam’s “Bamboo Diplomacy”, a diplomatic approach imbued with Vietnamese
national identity, has been thoroughly instilled in the Party and State of Vietnam in the
process of national development. It is an independent, cooperative, and comprehensive
diplomacy. With this diplomatic line, the country has achieved a status as it has today. In
the landscape of the world and Asia that have undergone rapid, unpredictable changes in
a complex direction, Vietnam’s diplomacy needs to continue promoting the “Vietnamese
Bamboo” identity in order to contribute to safeguarding the achievements and to
supporting the country’s transition to socialism, meanwhile actively and responsibly
contribute to peace, stability, and development of the world. The article analyzes and
clarifies the basic issues of Vietnam’s “Bamboo Diplomatic” identity in the current
process of building and defending the Fatherland.
