Evidenced understanding of the dialectical relationship between tradition and modernity in building and developing Vietnamese culture today

Abstract

Cultural development is an important goal and a top-priority task of the Party and
the State. The rapid and complicated developments of the world landscape and the great
comprehensive changes in all aspects of social life are posing the need for a full and
in-depth understanding of the position, role and significance of the task of building and
developing culture, wherein an evidenced understanding of the dialectical relationship
between tradition and modernity in cultural development is the basis for building an
advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity today.
