Abstract

By scientific research methods in Physical
Education and Sports as follows: Document
analysis and synthesis; Interview; Pedagogical
observation and statistical mathematics. The study
selected 3 morphological indicators and 12 tests
to assess the physical strength and technique of
male athletes of the Ho Chi Minh City University
of Economics Football team (UEH). Through
checking the actual status of morphology, physical
strength and technique of male athletes of the Ho
Chi Minh City University of Economics Football
team, it was shown that the actual performance
of the morphological assessment indicators was
uniform; 5/6 physical tests had high uniformity
and 1/6 physical tests had average uniformity and
4/6 technical tests had high uniformity, 2/6 tests
had average uniformity. The average values of the
tests were representative of the sample set except
for the standard ball passing test with the dominant
foot (the ball) which was a test result that was not
representative of the sample set.
