For a long time, the salary of civil servants in Vietnam was quite rigid according to seniority and rank. Recently, following the general trend of the world, Vietnam has made improvements to more flexible wages. In this article, we want to mention the world's experience in salary payment related to the evaluation of civil servants according to official performance. We can consider the experience in Asian countries such as Singapore and South Korea, from which we can draw lessons for Vietnam in the coming time
