GENDER PREJUDICE IN CURRENT TELEVISION ADVERTISING SITUATION AND SOLUTIONS

Abstract
Advertising plays an important role in building and perpetuating gender prejudice and thinking in society. Advertising can affect how men and women perceive and value roles and values, possibly causing prejudice, sexism, and other gender-related issues. The article applies the method of analyzing available documents, observing and in-depth interviews. The article describes the reality of television advertising and the current state of gender prejudice on television, analyzes gender prejudice in television advertising today. At the same time, some solutions are proposed to help limit gender prejudice in television advertising in order to reduce the impact of the problem on the public
