Abstract

Pressure ulcers are a common complication in patients who have limited mobility and are unable to turn or change positions. This causes prolonged hospital stay, increases treatment costs and burdens on families as well as the health sector. Therefore, nurses - who directly care for patients - need to take measures to prevent pressure ulcers. This article focuses on assessing the knowledge and attitudes of nurses about pressure ulcer prevention and related factors
