SITUATION OF INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS AND PRODUCTION, BUSINESS ACTIVITIES OF ENTERPRISES IN CUU LONG DELTA

Abstract

Cuu Long Delta plays an essential role in our national economy, it contributes many key export products, provides input factors and increases national budget revenues from various economic sectors. Based on the framework of national competitiveness analysis by Michael Porter adjusted to assess the local level, this study shows that the provinces and cities of this region are facing with underdevelopment in attracting the capital from foreign direct investment (FDI), and in production, business efficiency as well as in investing for social development. The proposed solutions include regional linkage, develop technological science in the orientation of modern agriculture combined with measures adapted to climate change
