Abstract

As the second generation of the French Enlightenment movement, J.J. Rousseau's thought of jurisdiction is a full convergence of positive and radical features of the era. J.J. Rousseau's view on a fair legal system aimed at protecting the freedom and equality of citizens, along with the view that the people directly enact the law, had brought great value to the bourgeois revolutionary movement of the eighteenth century. To this day, that ideology still has many inherited values, contributing to enriching the theory of building a socialist jurisdiction state in Vietnam
