MEASURES TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF POLITICAL EDUCATION SUBJECT TEACHING IN VIETNAM RUSSIA VOCATIONAL TRAINING COLLEGE NO.1

Abstract

Political education is a compulsory subject for all professions at college and intermediate level in the current Vocational Education training program. The subject is of primary importance to help each student understand the basic content of Mac - Lenin and Ho Chi Minh's thought, it is closely linked to the Party's line, the State's policies and laws, to the country's realities, to the upbringing and training of students. In this article, the authors reflect a comprehensive picture of the current situation of teaching Political Education subject at Vietnam Russia Vocational Training College No.1, such as students' cognitive attitudes about the subject, the current state of the teaching staff and teaching methods, and students' learning outcomes. The results show that the quality of teaching has achieved certain results. However, in the process of teaching the subject of Political Education, there are still some contents that have not been really effective. From there, we propose four measures to improve the quality of teaching political education subject at Vietnam Russia Vocational Training College No.1
