AN ANALYSIS OF PATENT APPLICATION DATA FILED FROM THREE COUNTRIES: JAPAN, AUSTRALIA AND CANADA INTO VIETNAM AND VICE VERSA

Abstract

The article examines the current status of filed patent applications from three countries: Japan, Australia and Canada (which are three important trading partners with Vietnam under the framework of implementing the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership) to Vietnam and vice versa, in the period of 12 years from 2010 to 2021 to analyze and propose some solutions in oder to increase the number of patent applications of Vietnamese entities filed domestically and internationaly, including to Japan, Australia and Canada
