SANCTIONS FOR THE VIOLATIONS OF THE LAW ON PROTECTION OF THE CONSUMER’S RIGHTS RELATED TO FOOD SAFETY

Abstract

This paper discusses the rights of the food consumer and the acts considered as the violations of the law on protection of the food consumer’s rights. It assesses the status quo of the sanctions for  the violations of the law on protection of the consumer’s rights related to food safety. It also offers some suggestions of how to improve the sanctions for the violations of the law on protection of the consumer’s rights related to food safety.
