Abstract

The right to life is the supreme human right, protected by all countries in the world by law in general and criminal law in particular. Unlike Constitutional law and other branches of law, criminal law protects people's right to life by stipulating that acts that infringe upon the right to life are crimes and at the same time providing appropriate sanctions for such acts. This article focuses on analyzing and evaluating provisions on crimes infringing upon human life in the Penal Code 2015 from the perspective of protecting human rights to life and proposing to improve provisions on this group of crimes to better protect people’s right to life.
