Protecting personal data using civil procedure in Vietnam today

Abstract

Under the drastic influence of today’s digital era, the need for personal data protection has become a pressing matter. This paper focuses on discussing protecting personal data using civil procedure. By identifying and evaluating the provisions of the 2015 Civil Procedure Code concerning personal data protection, this paper presents several issues, such as the demand to improve the law on the principles, jurisdiction of courts, and electronic data evidence, so that using civil procedure to protect personal data is more efficient.
