Improving the institution and design of interpretation and guidance on the application of law in Vietnam nowadays

Abstract

The institution of interpertation and guidance on the application of law plays a very important role in the process of exercising state power. Although there are many remarkable advantages, this institution in Vietnam still has certain limitations. There is no synchronisation, consistency and specificity in building this institution; the fact that many informal subjects jointly interpret and guide the application of law may cause overlaps and contradictions, etc. By assessing the current situation, the article proposes a number of solutions to improve the institution of interpretation and guidance on the application of law to ensure the rule-of-law principle and the goal of building a rule-of-law state in Vietnam.
