Punishment of corporate criminality and some recommendations for improvement

Abstract

Punishment of corporate criminality is one of the state’s criminal enforcement measures that are prescribed in the Penal Code and applied by courts to corporations that commit crimes. Punishments of corporate criminality are applied as a supportive punishment and to contribute to overcoming the consequences of criminal acts. This article presents the general provisions of the law on punishment of corporate criminality, analyses the existing shortcomings, and makes some recommendations to improve the law.
