STUDY TO DEVELOP A CODE OF STANDARDS FOR PUBLICATION OF RESEARCH WORKS OF HANOI LAW UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The paper discusses general issues of research works, publication of research works, standards for publication of research works; the status quote of  the provisions on standards for publication of research works of Hanoi Law University; and  proposes the directions and resolutions for developing a code of standards for publication of research works of Hanoi Law University including: 1) general standards; 2) standards for papers published in the Jurisprudence Journal (papers of the “research-exchange” column and papers of the “information” column); 3) standards for publication of books (text-books, monographs, reference books and manuals); and 4) standards for publication of conference proceedings. Each kind of standards is a unified and consistent structure of different groups of standards on the contents and form of, and the process to assess research works.
