DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT AND CHALLENGES FOR COPYRIGHT PROTECTION

Abstract

On the basis of analysing the concept, the contents, the purposes and the development of copyright and analysing the components of a digital environment, the paper assesses the challenges of the digital environment for copyright from different perspectives such as: challeges for copyright protection; challenges for the precision  of some traditional concepts about copyright, challenges for the occurence of new products within the digital environment whose copyright protection is needed and challenges for the practical copyright protection.
