APPLYING THE QUINTESSENCE OF BUDDHISM TO FOSTERING CITIZENS’ LEGAL AWARENESS

Abstract

Based on the similarities between the human values of the Buddhism philosophy and the core values of the law as well the study of the relationship between religious awareness and legal awareness, the paper offers some solutions to apply the quintessence of Buddhism for creating and raising citizens’ legal awareness, contributing to the development of the socialist rule of law State.
