Theory of “minimal state” and some issues of the functions of the State of Vietnam at present

Abstract

This article presents some basic contents of the theory of "minimal state", and on that basis offers the analyses of  the functions of the State of Vietnam  at present. The paper concludes that decreasing the state’s intervention is an important requirement for enhancing the state’s efficiency and ensuring  human freedom.
