Identifying contracts for a gift of property under the law of Vietnam

Abstract

The paper analyses the nature of a gift of property from the two approaches: a gift of property as a contract and a gift of property as a unilateral legal act. In accordance with the Vietnamese legal tradition, a gift of property is considered as a contract. On that basis, the paper identifies the concept of contract for a gift of property under the law of Vietnam.
