Abstract

Currently, the issue of whether or not the law should  recognise the “right to die” becomes a great concern in many countries around the world including Vietnam. This is because the “right to die” is a special right whose legal recognition will bring great impacts on society. Besides, in the case where the “right to die” is recognised by the National Assembly of Vietnam, it will further raise a concern as to which conditions and methods are applicable to the implementation of the “right to die”. This paper examines the conditions and methods of implementing the “right to die” in some countries and thereby suggets relevant solutions for applying the “right to die” in Vietnam in the coming time.
