E-commerce law accomplishment in Vietnam in the context of implementing ASEAN E-commerce Agreement

Abstract

Over 20 years of cooperation in e-commerce, on November 12, 2019, in Hanoi, ASEAN member countries signed the ASEAN E-commerce Agreement. As an active and responsible member of ASEAN, Viet Nam is on the track of improving the legal framework for e-commerce to promote e-commerce growth and ensure sustainable international and regional economic integration. The article analyzes shortcomings of Vietnamese law compared to the Agreement regulations.
