Rules on termination of contract by performance in Germany, China and Vietnam: A comparative perspective

Abstract

Performance of contract is the most natural and usual mode of terminating a contract. In the contract termination regulations of Germany, China or Vietnam, the first mentioned mode of termination is performance. Among those, besides the similarities, there are some differences. Through comparative analysis of the contract termination regulations of Germany, China and Vietnam, the article proposes s some recommendations to Vietnamese contract law.
