The right to property ownership in the Constitution 2013 and the improvement of the law on property ownership

Abstract

Property ownership is a basic civil right. Property ownership is enshrined in the national law as a citizen's right. The codification of property rights and building a unified legal system on property rights is essential in the current context. This article analyzes the formation process, development trends of the Constitution and other provisions of Vietnamese law on property ownership; and it also assesses the achievements and challenges of Vietnamese law and proposes directions and solutions to improve the provisions of Vietnamese law on property rights.
