Abstract

Violations of food safety regulations in China are becoming increasingly serious. Besides applying criminal policies, the State also needs to pay attention to the harmonious coordination of preventive measures from the management agencies on risk control with a view to crime prevention.. In terms of the “harmonized method”, one of the essential reasons and orientations from the viewpoint of criminal policy is that the effective food safety protection mechanism requires the State to establish a comprehensive and organized system of food safety protection regime; social precautions for the protection of food safety should be prioritised.
