The night time economy and the legal framework for the night time economy in Vietnam today

Abstract

The Night Time Economy (NTE) has been developing in Vietnam at different rates. In terms of policies, NTE has been encouraged by the Government, but it has only been at the initial level and the legal system has not really shown such incentive policies. This article analyzes the characteristics of NTE, identifies and evaluates the legal framework for NTE  from a theoretical perspective to clarify the urgent need to improve the law on NTE in Vietnam. The article also reveals that Vietnamese law has almost no specific provisions or incentives for developing NTE , and thus it needs to be continuously improved.
