Personal data protection in the AI age - European experience and recommendations to improve the law of Vietnam

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence affects many aspects of social life. However, the formation of artificial intelligence and the application of artificial intelligence in life may violate the right to privacy in general and the right to protect personal data in particular. The article mentions the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to see the advantages and disadvantages in protecting personal data; GDPR's impact on artificial intelligence, technology platform, cyber security and law globally, from which to experience lessons for Vietnam and propose to improve the law to effectively protect personal data in the era of artificial intelligence.
