Comparison of principles of handling personal data under China and Vietnam's personal information protection laws

Abstract

The article analyzes the principles of handling personal information under China's Personal Information Protection Law, and connects and compares them with the principles in Vietnam's draft decree on personal data protection to identify similarities, differences, as well as progress and limitations in the legal frameworks of the two countries.
