Legal regulations on economic dispute resolution by arbitration in the Lao people's democratic Republic

Abstract

In the context of increasingly changing socio-economic conditions, international integration is a global trend, economic disputes frequently occur, becoming more and more diverse and complex in the People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR). This requires further development and improvement of the law on economic dispute resolution by arbitration, an effective method to resolve disputes in the market economy. The article analyzes and evaluates the current legal regulations of Lao PDR on economic dispute resolution by arbitration, points out limitations and inadequacies to propose improvement of the law on economic dispute resolution by arbitration in Lao PDR.
