President Ho Chi Minh and the establishment and development of general education (1945-1954)

Abstract

Immediately after the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh established a new educational system - a national and democratic education, prepared a program to reform the old educational system, gradually developed general education into a mass education system contributing to the resistance war, national construction, and brought the Vietnamese nation to a new page of history. These important results further demonstrated the victory of the viewpoint and policy of national and democratic education of Party and the State under the light of Ho Chi Minh’s educational ideology.
