Environmental protection alongside socio-economic development as a central task of the new phase

Abstract

Environmental protection together with socio-economic development are two inseparable aspects of sustainable development for every country in the world. During the process of leading the renovation from 1986 to the present, the Party’s thinking and awareness on socio-economic development associated with environmental protection have been continuously supplemented and perfected. Especially in the draft documents submitted to the 14th Party Congress, many new viewpoints on this issue have been specifically defined by the Party to create a strong transformation in leadership and direction in implementing the task of environmental protection together with socio-economic development in the country’s new era.
